Global Health Watch 2, produced by the People’s Health Movement, Medact and the Global Equity Gauge Alliance in South Africa, presents an alternative view of health in the 21st century that is sorely needed.

Launch of Global Health Watch 2
Global Health Watch 2 will be launched on Thursday October 16, 4.45 - 6.15 pm, at the Wilkins Jeremy Bentham Meeting Room, Main Building UCL, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT. This new alternative world health report clearly describes how unfair social and economic policies reflecting the political dominance of the richer nations are to blame for the poor state of health of millions of global citizens . Professor Gill Walt, Medact Vice-President, describes it as "ambitious, daring and foresighted" and a report that "everyone will take something from". Call for Stories and Case studies to supplement the second edition of the Global Health Watch Report, due to be launched in early 2008
Participate in the second Global Health Watch, by submitting human interest stories and case studies. We are calling on activists, health workers and academics from around the world to submit case studies and testimonies or stories based on individual or group experiences to supplement the second edition of the report and reinforce its main themes
