Join us for an exciting day of workshops, training, discussions and delicious food on Saturday 16th November, where we will come together from across the UK to:
🗣️ Connect with, be inspired by and learn from other health workers from across our movementÂ
🔓 Explore an abolitionist approach to health justice
đź’ Learn theory and skills related to campaigning and organising for health justice
Financial assistance for travel costs will be available and we will support with accommodation where necessary. We do not want financial circumstances to be a barrier to participation. We will provide drinks, snacks and a full lunch.

Afternoon session 1 | Option 1: Taking action together for Healthy Homes—Economic Justice & Climate and Health track Option 2: Resisting health workers as agents of the state—Peace and Security & Patients Not Passports track |
Afternoon session 2 | Skills training and workshops, ideas are in development but currently include: – Training: How to target corporate actors – Training: Media & spokesperson – An introduction to radical community clinics – Activist self care e.g. yoga or somatic healing – Training: social model of disability |
Plenary | Putting our learnings into practice and mapping out our next steps as individuals |
Social | We’ll head elsewhere in Bethnal Green to relax and spend time together |
Accessibility
- The primary event space and supplementary rooms are wheelchair accessible
- There is a ground-floor wheelchair accessible bathroom and additional bathroom accessed via lift
- There is one car parking space available inside the building perimeter
- We will have comfort breaks throughout the day
- We will provide a separate quiet space throughout the day
- We can provide the programme and logistical information in large print on request

- The event space does not have a hearing loop
- We are unable to provide BSL interpretation or multilingual interpretation
